Habib Cognition Lab
We welcome inquiries from prospective graduate students, undergraduate researchers, collaborators, and press.
If you are interested in applying to the PhD or MA program in Psychology at SIU to work in this lab, please email Dr. Habib before submitting your formal application. Include a brief description of your research interests, your CV, and any relevant experience with neuroimaging or behavioral research methods.
We particularly encourage applications from students interested in pathological gambling, memory, impulsivity, or decision-making. Funding through teaching or research assistantships may be available for strong applicants.
SIU undergraduates interested in gaining research experience are encouraged to contact Dr. Habib directly. We offer opportunities for data collection, behavioral coding, and (for advanced students) neuroimaging data analysis.
We are always open to discussing potential collaborations with researchers at other institutions, particularly those working in behavioral addiction, neuroimaging methods, or mobile health interventions.
